Peter Freire

I was born and raised in the Galápagos Islands and am a descendant of one of the oldest families to settle here in the early 1900s. From a young age, I learned to fish, farm, and live in harmony with nature, developing a deep love for every corner of the islands I proudly call home.

The extraordinary beauty and biodiversity of the Galápagos inspired me to become a Naturalist Guide and a Scuba Diving Instructor and Dive Guide. Over the years, my passion for birdwatching, geology, and photography has become an integral part of my work, allowing me to lead specialized groups and share the islands from a unique perspective.

Together, my wife and I have built our family business based on our shared experience, passion for tourism, commitment to exceptional service, and deep respect for nature. Our goal is to create meaningful and unforgettable experiences while helping our guests discover the true essence of the Galápagos Islands.

Rossy Trejo

I was born surrounded by the lush nature of Ecuador’s rainforest, in a small town called Santo Domingo. When I first arrived in the Galápagos Islands, I discovered a place where every landscape and every encounter with nature felt truly extraordinary—something to be shared, appreciated, and protected.

Following my heart, I fell in love with Peter, and in doing so, I also fell in love with the Galápagos. What was once his home soon became my home as well.

After working in the cruise industry for several years, I realized how rewarding it was to share the beauty of the Galápagos with travelers from around the world. That experience inspired us to create our own family business, where we could design meaningful, personalized experiences and help our guests connect with the islands in an authentic and unforgettable way.

Hans Freire

I am the eldest of the Freire-Trejo family. From an early age, I developed a deep passion for photography, wildlife, and the ocean. Growing up in the Galápagos, I was immersed in tourism and nature through surfing, fishing with my grandfather, and participating in conservation activities, including programs dedicated to protecting the Galápagos giant tortoises and other native species.

My greatest passions are filmmaking, photography, and water sports. I especially enjoy creating multimedia experiences and sharing these passions with travelers who appreciate nature, adventure, and visual storytelling.

I studied International Business Engineering at Casa Grande University, where I gained the knowledge and skills that now help me combine my love for tourism, entrepreneurship, and conservation through our family business.

Astrid Freire

I am the youngest member of the Freire-Trejo family, and I grew up surrounded by the tourism industry in the Galápagos Islands. From an early age, I loved spending time in nature with my father, watching the joy he found in sharing the beauty of the islands through his work as a Naturalist Guide. Those childhood experiences inspired a lifelong passion for nature, and by the age of seven, I had already decided that I wanted to become a biologist and a Naturalist Guide.

I also had the opportunity to spend time with my mother at work, where I learned about the behind-the-scenes operations of the tourism industry. Those experiences taught me the importance of attention to detail, teamwork, and providing exceptional service to every guest.

I earned my degree in Biology from the University of Guayaquil and became a licensed Naturalist Guide in 2017. Today, I work as a guide while also designing personalized travel experiences for our guests, combining my scientific background, local knowledge, and passion for sharing the incredible biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands.
